Hidden Palms, a dark and mysterious one-hour drama, from creators Kevin Williamson ("Dawson's Creek") and Scott Winant ("Huff", "My So-Called Life") will premiere on CW Wednesday, May 30 at 8 p.m. ET.
Revolving around the troubled 16-year old Johnny Miller (Taylor Handley), who's fresh out of rehab after turning to drugs and alcohol to deal with his fathers recent suicide, it's set in the paradise of Palms Springs. Feeling out of place Johnny makes friends with his new neighbors Cliff (Michael Cassidy), Liza (Ellary Porterfield) and the beautiful Greta (Amber Heard).
Johnny tries to link the strange things going on to the tragic death of Cliff's best friend, who just happens to have lived in Johnny's house. Coincidence? I think not. While Johnny is lurking around and learns the secrets that lie just beneath the surface of this seemingly typical neighborhood, he and his family are forced to ask the question: "How well do you really know the people who live right next door?" Mystery ensues...
Hidden Palms have been given an 8 episode intial order by The CW and is produced by Lionsgate Television, in association with Outerbanks Entertainment. Cast includes Gail O'Grady, D.W. Muffett, Tessa Thompson, Sharon Lawrence, and Leslie Jordan.
