Adele Silva, the 26-year-old star from Emmerdale, has signed a contract bringing her on board of the new series of Hell's Kitchen.
The actress plays Kelly Windsor in the ITV1 soap Emmerdale and according to Digital Spy she has told pals that she can't wait to battle against her rivals on the programme, where the contestants really need their cooking skills.
A friend says:
"She'll be in it to win it. She loves cooking and has made no secret of the fact she is a domestic goddess. Her friends often tease her because she loves staying at home baking rather than partying. She will certainly give the other celebs a run for their money."
Chef Marco Pierre-White will coach the contestants.

It's been a while since Tom Selleck was around as a series regular. He had some guest spots on Friends and Boston Legal, but now it could look he'll return as a regular over at NBC's Las Vegas replacing James Caan in the role as the shows leading man and manager of the Montecito.
The show had a pretty short season this year, and with James Caan and Nikki Cox leaving I'm not even sure it's worth watching any more. But maybe they can turn it around with some new cast members. Either way, they should begin shooting season five in the near future ahead of the midsummer start for most shows.
